NEW EVENT Instructions

Introductory text. Explain what the event is.

Make sure to use the DEFAULT EDITOR and NOT DIVI. The styling will be applied by Divi AFTER you insert and tag content with H1, H2, H3, etc. tags

The areas in the RIGHT SIDEBAR (EVENT TAB) contain the main image for the post (image size MUST be 1024 px x 683 px.)

The sidebar also contains the EXCERPT text. (120 words max.)
This shows up in the preview BEFORE people have clicked to view what the event is about.

Also, the SIDEBAR is where you choose CATEGORIES. This helps the site sort events by type. (bake sales and car washes vs funerals).

Choose SCHEDULED as the status of the EVENTS tab (at the bottom.)
